On the final episode of InZane Rugby League for the year, Zane Bojack and former Raiders halfback Sam Williams are joined by Melbourne Storm General Manager of Football Frank Ponissi to rake over the coals of the Panthers victory in the 2024 NRL Grand Final.
Whilst acknowledging Penrith were the better side in the season decider, Ponissi told ABC Sport that the Storm believes Jack Howarth scored when denied by the bunker and Cameron Munster not only didn't bite Paul Alamoti but was the victim of a grapple tackle and should have received a penalty.
He also welcomed the selections of Harry Grant as vice-captain of the Kangaroos and Xavier Coates for his debut on the wing.
Zane and Sam also discussed Mal Meninga not selecting Kalyn Ponga for the Kangaroos and the omission of Olivia Kernick for the Jillaroos.
